Nilsa is a Board-Certified Music Therapist, Singer, and Educator. Born and raised in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, she brings a unique blend of classroom teaching, artistic performance, and community service experience. Nilsa specializes in working with children with Autism and Down Syndrome, adults with Dementia and related conditions, and individuals in hospice care. She is also the creator of Tamborcitos ©, a music program that promotes early childhood bilingual education by teaching toddlers English and Spanish through music. Currently, Nilsa operates NPO Music, a performance and music therapy business in Ocala, FL.
