Danielle Vardakas, Garnet Heart Wellness founder and Garnet Heart Yoga Director, loves sharing yoga, dance and meditation with children. She began training to teach children in 1993 and started teaching these modalities to children in 1995. Her masters degree summa cum laude is from Naropa University in Yogic Studies. She holds degrees magna cum laude in Dance Education from University of the Arts and Visual Arts from Temple University's Tyler School of Art both in Philadelphia, PA. Prior to moving to Florida, Danielle owned and directed both a dance center in Vermont for 11 years. She also directed two Arts Academy Grade School dance programs of 800 children in Phoenix, Az as well as taught Dance and American culture at the Maricopa Community Colleges. Garnet Heart Yoga is a certified Children's school with Yoga Alliance. Danielle leads teacher training courses that have been approved by Yoga Alliance for 15 years. She can certify your teen to begin their teaching career. Besides her GHW offerings, Danielle teaches dance and yoga at a schools and libraries in Palm Beach.
