Mrs. Mead’s Tutoring provides high-quality, personalized academic support for children in Pre-K through 10th grade. We offer private 1-on-1 tutoring in reading, writing, math, phonics, and comprehension. We specialize in working with struggling readers, ESE, and ESOL students. Our lessons are taught by Mrs. Mead, a certified, highly effective elementary school teacher with a K–12 Reading Endorsement and ESOL certification. She is experienced in working with English language learners and students with disabilities. She also served as a behavioral therapist for children with disabilities for several years prior to becoming a teacher. We work with homeschool families to help students to be successful. We understand that homeschooling can be overwhelming and aid parents in finding resources, being confident at home with their student, and filling in any missing gaps. We also provide enrichment opportunities for many students to help them grow to new learning levels. We serve students of all ability levels, focusing on building confidence, closing learning gaps, and supporting long-term academic growth through research-based strategies, the science of reading, and individualized instruction.
