Pathways to Progress Tutoring provides private and small group tutoring services to students ages 5-13 with mild to significant cognitive disabilities. This program has been developed by a certified special education teacher with an understanding of the research-based strategies that empower students to feel confident in their abilities. Our tutor will work with parents & guardians to learn about your child's specific strengths and areas of growth to create a learning plan specific to their individual needs while continuing to make adjustments as we grow. We provide instructional support for reading and math while focusing on important foundational skills necessary for academics such as: - Communication - Participation & Engagement - Joint Attention - Listening Skills - Positive Behavior We support the following students: - Ages 5-13 - Mild to significant cognitive disabilities - Working on the Florida State Standards Access Points with a modified curriculum - All communication levels (including AAC users!) - Utilizing accommodations to make progress on their learning goals - Have an IEP - and more!
