We are virtual and homeschool, educational coaches. We help parents that want to give their child/children and alternative form of education. The children at Stroke Of Art are able to learn Language, Math, Science, Social Studies while also exploring their creative side through art. In addition to following the curriculum each child might have we provide classes of painting, sculpture, drawing and pottery wheel. We encourage children that have been bullied, with low self-esteem or just need a different way of learning. We work with then to build their self-esteem, to self love and self-gratification. Children learn that with art there is no right way or wrong way to do something. There is just our own way, our own vision. Art is what we want it to be. Children work with art tools to buildup their fine motors skills. They are able to work with clay in wedging and using the pottery wheel for their gross motor skills. They have to use math for the weighing the clay, measuring the glazes with the water and mixing. We use reading, to be able to read each lesson and instructions. They use their Science and Sensory to mix colors when they painting and feeling all the different textures. We learn the history behind each art we do. We implement a lesson with each and work we do. As ex Montessori Teacher for over 25 years we know each child learns at its pace and we need to guide the so they can reach their full potential.
