We are certified local teachers and provide personalized tutoring in Reading, Writing, and Math. We are available to work with students in grades K-12 and specialize in students with ADHD, neurodiversity, and students with dyslexia who are below grade level expectations. We provide 1:1 online and face to face reading, literacy, and math tutoring – all of which are personalized to the learner. Reading: We use orthographic mapping (AKA The Science of Reading) to explicitly teach students how the English language works. We have developed personalized teaching methods and use all online materials. The results are incredible and the learning sticks. We have proven results from tutoring over 50 students online for the last year. Most students have increased their reading levels by one full year within 12-18 weeks of tutoring. Writing: We teach writing in a risk-free environment to students in K-12. By meeting the writer where he/she is currently performing, we tailor instruction to support areas of need including: Language Arts, spelling, writing/typing, focus, organization, evidence, elaboration, and more. A culminating "Writing Celebration" is held and the student will share their writing using a Canva presentation. Math: We teach K-12 math aligned to state standards and higher levels of math. Similarly to teaching reading, we identify and close learning gaps so each student can successfully master new and more complex math concepts.
