ASTR Institute was founded by Dr. Joseph Jacobs, a cancer survivor, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Advanced Clinical Nutritionist, functional medicine practitioner, and natural medicine expert. After overcoming chronic pain, fatigue, and migraines, Dr. Jacobs developed a holistic approach to help families achieve lasting wellness. He is the author of Eat to Heal, creator of the ASTR Diet, and has been featured on TV as a health expert sharing natural healing and pain relief strategies. Our programs serve students of all ages and include Autism support, ADHD support, and services for neurodiverse learners. Each sensory-friendly program focuses on focus, emotional regulation, and overall wellness through nutrition and movement-based therapy.
