Deer Brook provides several services for all scholarship types (in person or on Zoom) according to your needs... 1. Private tutoring, or homeschool hybrid and homeschool group (see details below). 2. A low to no pressure normed reference/standardized test that fulfills the Step Up for Students PEP end of year normed reference test requirement. The focus is to give your child a chance to "showcase" their skills! We keep it low pressure! It's not long or timed. Then we celebrate and get a certificate! 3. Annual Homeschool Evaluation for UA scholarship students who are not required to take a normed reference test/standardized test. The focus is on "making progress relative to your ability," giving feedback, answering questions, and celebrating your homeschool! We mail your child a certificate to celebrate! Tutoring/Hybrid: *2 certified teachers, *2 days a week (M,W), small group and 1 on 1 instruction, * a custom curriculum plan to meet your child's needs using placement tests to help us determine the best path for them, * a cohesive plan and system so that parents know what to do or what to have their child do on their days of homeschool (T, TH), *a cozy modern home classroom! *Fridays are an optional outdoor classroom day at local parks (or field trips) with our Deer Brook Homeschool group!
