I currently hold a temporary State of Florida Educator Certificate and have spent the last four years inspiring young minds as a 3rd-grade Math and Science teacher at two charter schools. In addition, my experience as a substitute teacher in Hillsborough County Elementary Public Schools has expanded my understanding of diverse learning environments. Fueled by a passion for fostering a student-centric classroom, I have dedicated myself to mastering the Florida Math standards, which has resulted in my students achieving the highest scores in our grade for the FAST test for three consecutive years. The joy of witnessing my students learn and flourish is what drives me to enhance my knowledge and skills continually. I strive to make every moment in the classroom purposeful, ensuring that each student feels empowered to succeed in Math and Science. With a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Human Resources, I am well-prepared to tutor students in the dynamic realm of entrepreneurship. I excel in introducing concepts related to starting a business, guiding students in understanding what makes a business successful, and how to stand out in a competitive landscape. My lessons cover essential topics such as money management and budgeting, using relatable examples like allowances or the costs of things they want, making concepts accessible and engaging.
