I am a Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist certified by the Center for Effective Reading Instruction. I provide research based O-G intervention to students struggling with reading, writing or spelling. I hold a New York State Public School Teacher Certificate, a New York State School Media Specialist (Library) Certificate, and a New York State Public Librarian's Professional Certificate. I received my B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from Cornell University and a Master's in Library Science from SUNY Buffalo. I have had the privilege to provide instruction in reading, spelling, and writing to public, private and homeschooled students. As a school librarian, I’ve shared my love of reading with students. As a literacy therapist, I’m dedicated to providing the tools and support students need on their journey as they discover the power and joy of reading and writing. It is a thrill to help struggling students realize their potential and become confident lifelong learners.
