The Mindful Prof is a Tampa and Orlando based somatic education and wellness coaching practice serving children, youth, and families through evidence-informed, body-centered programming. Led by a team of credentialed educators and certified somatic practitioners, we specialize in supporting learners with unique abilities, students with IEPs and formal diagnoses, and homeschooled youth who benefit from nervous system-informed approaches to learning and self-regulation. Our lead provider, Michele McMoneagle, M.Ed., C-IAYT, holds a Florida Teaching Certificate in Exceptional Student Education (K–12), Elementary Education (K–6), Reading (K–12), and ESOL (K–12), and brings 23 years of direct K–12 classroom experience alongside advanced credentials as a Certified Yoga Therapist and Integrative Somatic Practitioner. Sessions draw from somatic awareness, breathwork, mindful movement, and nervous system education to build the self-regulation skills students need to learn, connect, and thrive. We currently offer individualized somatic regulation sessions for FESUA scholarship students ages 3–22, with small-group enrichment programming for homeschool families launching Spring 2027. All services are educational in nature and are not therapy. We serve students in person in the Tampa Bay/Orlando area and virtually throughout Florida.
