At Knowledge Builders, we are dedicated to fostering a thriving, supportive environment for students through our year-round educational and enrichment programs. As a community-based not-for-profit organization, our mission is to empower young learners by providing comprehensive afterschool support and engaging activities designed to nurture their academic, social, and physical development. Our dedicated team of educators and volunteers work tirelessly to create an inclusive and inspiring environment where every child can thrive. Our programs include Afterschool Tutorials, Differentiated Instruction for Struggling Readers, STEM Education, Social Skills Development, Physical Fitness Activities, and Go Green Efforts that teach students how to contribute to a sustainable and safe planet. In our small group setting, we offer differentiated instruction led by a certified teacher, ensuring that each student's unique learning needs are addressed. This approach allows for personalized support and tailored strategies to help students progress at their own pace. Highlights of our differentiated reading instruction include varying the complexity of texts, using targeted interventions to build foundational skills, and providing opportunities for students to work in flexible groupings based on their individual strengths and challenges. This ensures a more inclusive and effective learning environment where every student can succeed.
