I am a certified middle grades English Language Arts teacher with additional certifications in ESE, ESOL, and Elementary K-6. I have over 14 years in public, private, and home school settings. I offer engaging ELA classes designed specifically for homeschool students in grades 5-9. Courses focus on reading comprehension, literature discussion, writing development, and public speaking skills. With a background in ELA education as well as theatre and music, I strive to create interactive instruction that brings literature to life while helping students grow in confidence as readers, writers, and communicators. Courses include various writing workshops, literature studies, storytelling and public speaking, and enrichment programs with a focus on foundations in theatre performance and music. Classes are intentionally small to allow meaningful discussion and individualized feedback.
