Paramount Tutoring provides English, Writing, and Comp. & Lit. classes, plus tutoring in Jacksonville, FL near the Intracoastal and Beaches area. In the writing class, students from grades 3 to 12 will learn or refine fundamental writing skills, which include note-taking, outlining, story sequencing, and various types of writing such as short and long reports, five-paragraph essays, research papers, book reports, narratives, responses to literature, as well as expository, argumentative, and persuasive essays. The class will also cover grammar, vocabulary, literature, and feature a Book Club. Each student will have the opportunity to present their paper to the class and the homeschool community. Private Tutoring: The tutor will work individually with the student and/or parent to address any writing, literature, or grammar concerns for one hour. During this session, the tutor may assist with outlining, paper resources, structure, or essay style. The tutor may also suggest edits and provide recommendations to further equip the parent.
