I am a Florida licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP), a Structured Literacy Dyslexia Interventionist (C-SLDI), and a certified Orton-Gillingham (OG) tutor with 25 years of experience working with students with language-based learning differences, such as dyslexia, as well as auditory processing disorder, ADHD, and dysgraphia. For pre-readers and younger readers, the focus is on improving alphabet knowledge, letter naming and letter-sound correspondence, and phonological/phonemic awareness that is critical for reading and spelling success. I have experience in many settings, including private practice, a specialized school for dyslexia, and public and private schools. During one-on-one online sessions, I provide students with customized, explicit and systematic instruction to help meet their phonemic awareness, reading, spelling, and writing goals.
