Rooted in Learning Tutoring – with Emily Durrance Hello! I’m Emily Durrance, a certified teacher and homeschool instructor passionate about helping children grow through curiosity, connection, and joy. My tutoring services are inspired by the Rooted in Learning philosophy—where education is hands-on, holistic, and guided by each child’s natural wonder. I believe that every child learns best when they feel seen, supported, and inspired. My sessions blend child-led exploration with foundational instruction in reading and math, using multi-sensory, nature-based, and play-centered approaches to bring learning to life. Together, we’ll build not only strong academic skills, but also confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. I value forming genuine partnerships with families, creating a community rooted in growth, grace, and curiosity as we support each child’s unique path.
