At Starfish Collaborative Care, we work collaboratively to provide evidence-based psychological services for children, teens, young adults, and parents. Our goal is to support emotional wellness, learning, and family connection through expert evaluations and therapies. We offer comprehensive psychological and educational assessments to help understand a child's unique strengths and challenges, and to identify learning disabilities, ADHD, autism, anxiety, and other emotional and behavioral concerns. Each evaluation includes a detailed, individualized report with clear recommendations for home, school, and treatment. Our therapy services are grounded in research. This includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in individual therapy, working on skills such as improving mood, reducing anxiety, and strengthening coping skills. Intermittent parent sessions are included to reinforce progress. We also provide certified Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). Through real-time coaching, parents learn effective strategies to manage tantrums, oppositional behavior, and emotional outbursts—while also building warmth, consistency, and confidence in parenting. At Starfish, we focus on strengths and collaboration. We partner with caregivers, schools, and other providers to ensure consistent, effective care.
