MCA Academy is an independent school established in 2006 and is located in Miami-Dade County, Florida at 2911 Grand Avenue, Suite 500, Miami, FL 33133. Classroom teachers provide formal in-person instruction to children in grades 1st – 12th via nationally recognized and fully accredited home education curriculums. The instruction at MCA Academy is managed and provided by MCA Academy classroom teachers, in-person, and within a formal classroom setting as in traditional schools. Our teachers plan short and long-term goals, implement lessons, have class lectures and discussions, provide hands-on activities and experiments, include question-and-answer sessions, evaluate student progress beyond the assignments and evaluations requiring submission to the curriculum companies, and maintain and compile records required by the Miami-Dade County Public School Florida Home Education Federal and State Compliance Office. All students are registered as Miami-Dade County Florida Home Education Program students, and attend school in-person Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 2:20 a.m. during the academic year (August – June).
