The Lit Advocate is a private education provider offering individualized lessons and tutoring, homeschool classes, reading clinics, and literacy evaluations for K-12 students. We specialize in literacy and language development, and work closely with families to create customized learning plans for students with learning disabilities and dyslexia. We also offer virtual office hours and monthly memberships to offer students drop-in style support for homework, test-prep, and content clarification. As a Choice Navigator and advocate, we offer monthly workshops to support parents and families with best practices and strategies for: unit and lesson planning, curriculum and resource selection, accommodating learners with unique needs, and supporting students with reading disabilities and dyslexia. All of our services can be adapted for virtual or in-person contexts. Onsite services are offered at one of our two locations in Pasco County, FL: SmartSTART at The Grove, in Wesley Chapel, and our Learning Center in downtown Dade City.
