ATHOME-stead Rising Farmers Academy is a weekly, homeschool-based enrichment program designed for families seeking hands-on, land-based learning rooted in sustainability, life skills, and connection to God’s creation. Meeting one day per week for 5 hours on our family homestead, students engage in immersive, seasonal experiences including goat care and life cycles, hatching and raising chickens, turkey tending, butterfly life cycle observation, gardening, seed planting, composting, natural skincare creation (like tallow products), harvesting, simple building projects, and reflective journaling. Every activity is designed to foster confidence, responsibility, curiosity, and respect for God’s creation. As a faith-based program, we incorporate biblical values and a spirit of gratitude into our time on the farm, encouraging children to see the wonder, purpose, and beauty in the work of their hands and the world around them. As students learn to grow their own food and create their own natural skincare, they build essential self-sufficiency skills that promote independence, creativity, and a lifelong understanding of sustainable living. We serve homeschool families with children of various ages and backgrounds, providing a supportive, unplugged environment where learning happens through meaningful work and exploration—not screens or textbooks. Please note: ATHOME-stead Rising Farmers Academy is an enrichment program and not a licensed private school.
