Carolyn Nash provides tutoring and learning specialist services to students in all grades for both math and reading as well as other subjects. These services include informal assessments with learning style approach, development of personalized tutoring plans and integration of OT type exercises to help students with their math and reading challenges. All instruction is done to help harness and improve upon the natural learning style of each student. We also look for challenges with underlying processing and refer to professionals to assess and help with anything found. Most of the reading is done with an Orton Gillingham multi-sensory approach. Math is offered with a mastery approach and spiral review in a style that matches the learning style of the student.
