As a certified school counselor, I offer educational services aimed at empowering students in grades 6-12 to achieve academic success, prepare for college or career, and develop socially and emotionally. My services include academic advising, attendance support, college guidance, referrals to community resources, conflict resolution, executive function skills, goal setting, grief and loss support, promoting a growth mindset, explaining high school graduation requirements, providing individual and small group counseling (non-therapeutic), fostering interpersonal and social skills, mental health wellness support, consultations with parents, administering standardized assessments, coaching students for academic and behavioral success, retained students and MTSS support, and teaching study strategies and test-taking skills. I also offer personalized support to students participating in special programs, including English language learners (ELLs), gifted students, students with disabilities (SWD), those in gifted education, and those in homeschooling programs.
