Jax Guitar Lessons provides personalized, one-on-one guitar instruction for students ages 5 through adult throughout the greater Jacksonville area. Lessons are taught in the comfort of the student's home, and live online Zoom lessons are also available. Instruction is customized to each student's age, experience, musical interests, and learning style. Students of all skill levels can learn rock, pop, blues, metal, country, acoustic, music theory, ear training, improvisation, songwriting, and performance skills. Jax Guitar Lessons is owned and taught exclusively by John "Crash" Monarch, who has been playing guitar for 39 years and teaching for 29 years. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University and graduated with honors from Musicians Institute. There are no registration fees, no long-term contracts, and lessons are scheduled to fit busy family routines. Every student receives individualized instruction in a supportive, encouraging, and professional learning environment.
