TRU Athletics is a nonprofit youth development organization serving children and teens ages 3–18 throughout Manatee and Sarasota Counties, with a focus on supporting inner-city youth, underserved families, and athletes who may not otherwise have access to organized sports and enrichment programs. Through cheerleading, physical education, educational enrichment, and mentorship, we provide affordable opportunities for youth to grow both on and off the mat. Our programs promote physical fitness, coordination, strength, flexibility, teamwork, confidence, and healthy lifestyles through tumbling, cheer and motion training, conditioning, stunt training, open gyms, private lessons, and competitive All-Star cheer teams for athletes of all skill levels. Beyond athletics, we support academic success, character development, leadership skills, and mental wellness by fostering self-confidence, resilience, positive social skills, goal setting, and a supportive environment where every athlete can thrive. At TRU Athletics, we are committed to developing strong athletes, confident students, and future leaders through athletics, education, mentorship, and personal growth.
