SEED TIME HARVEST Homeschool Enrichment Program offers a comprehensive, hands-on learning experience focused on sustainable living, agriculture, and life skills. The program covers six main areas all thought from biblical worldview: Organic Gardening and Permaculture: Students learn the fundamentals of soil preparation, seed starting, garden care (watering, weeding, pest control), food forests, harvesting, preserving (canning, freezing, etc.), and cooking with their harvest. Animal Husbandry: The program focuses on raising baby chicks, from incubation to care, with an optional introduction to other livestock like goats, cows, and horses. Sustainability Practices: Students explore composting (including worm composting), the importance of insects, and waste reduction through recycling and resourcefulness. Life Skills & Entrepreneurship: Participants develop practical skills like sewing, soap/candle making, first aid, and sourdough bread making. They also undertake an entrepreneurship project, creating and potentially selling a product or service related to the curriculum. Nature Exploration & Creative Expression: The program encourages nature walks, exploration, and creative expression through nature journaling, art, photography, and environmental projects. Healthy Living: SEED TIME HARVEST integrates mindfulness, movement, outdoor activities, and discussions about healthy eating and nutrition.
