The Learning Bean Café is a locally owned child play café designed for children ages 0–8 and the families who support them. We focus on social-emotional learning, purposeful play, and providing educational support in a safe, welcoming environment. Our tutoring and electives will assist students K-5th grade. Founded by a certified teacher in both Florida and Maryland, the owner brings over 20 years of experience serving students in grades 1–12 in Reading, Math, Writing, Social Studies, and Science. She is also a former Special Educator and experienced LEA (Local Education Agency representative) for the state of Florida, with extensive knowledge of IEP development, student support services, and individualized learning strategies. Our thoughtfully designed indoor play areas encourage creativity, problem-solving, communication, cooperation, and independence through hands-on, child-led experiences. We also offer educational guidance and support for families seeking enrichment or additional academic resources.
