We are a team of teachers who drive to our student’s homes for weekly lessons in Jacksonville, Ocala, Orlando and Gainesville areas. We teach piano, voice, guitar, cello, violin, drums and more ages 5 and up. YES - we come to your home if you are in our driving area (see: https://shiningstarmusicacademy.com/policies-1) Students with us pay for a monthly flat rate membership that includes those lessons, as well as group online lessons, all books that are needed, all registration and recital fees are included, and we perform a minimum of six times throughout the year at nursing homes and formal recitals, as well as practice recitals. We also host annual music festival assessments if students would like to participate. The monthly membership fee is $175 for weekly 30 minute lessons, $245 for weekly 45 minute lessons, and $320 for weekly 60 minute lessons. The commitment begins after your first lesson you’ve met your teacher, and we just asked for 30 day notice if you ever want to stop or pause lessons. The goal is that students love their teachers and do well, which is never a problem with our team, but I’d like parents to feel confident in what we do. We are accepting new students throughout the year, and student who register now will usually have a schedule set within 2 to 4 weeks.
