Teen Up-Ward Bound, Inc. (TUB) provides high-quality afterschool and summer programs for students in grades K–12 in Opa-Locka and surrounding Miami-Dade communities. Our Leadership Academy focuses on education, social-emotional wellness, and physical health to “Give Wings to Dreams!” We offer mentoring, tutoring, homework help, literacy, social-emotional learning, financial literacy, visual/digital arts, urban gardening, sports, and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) programs. Activities include coding and robotics, entrepreneurship training, team-building, and mental health awareness. TUB serves elementary, middle, and high school students, including youth with disabilities and students who are behind academically or at risk of dropping out. Our programs are inclusive, affordable, and designed to keep youth safe, engaged, and on track for academic success.
