Capoeira Karkara offers dynamic, community-focused programs for children and teens, combining movement, music, and cultural education in a supportive and engaging environment. Our programs are designed to teach the fundamentals of capoeira—an Afro-Brazilian art form that blends martial arts, dance, rhythm, and play—while helping students build strength, coordination, confidence, and social skills. The **Juniors Fundamentals Program** (ages 4–6) introduces young children to capoeira through playful games, music, movement exercises, and partner activities. Students develop agility, balance, focus, and early teamwork skills while experiencing the joy and rhythm of capoeira in a safe and nurturing setting. The **Youth Fundamentals Program** (ages 7–13) builds on these foundations with a structured curriculum that teaches kicks, defenses, partner sequences, and rodas. This program emphasizes timing, physical literacy, teamwork, and self-confidence, allowing students to grow stronger, more coordinated, and more connected to a vibrant cultural tradition. Teenagers (ages 13–17) are welcome to join our **Adults Fundamentals Program**, which covers the same foundational movements, music, and training while providing an age-appropriate challenge. Teens also enjoy a special weekly class designed just for them, offering space to train with peers
