Lorraine P. Smith is an Educational Consultant who works primarily with home education families in Florida. She offers educational counseling, particularly for high school students, as there are many educational choices to consider for a high school student who is home educated. She provides transcript preparation, college scholarship guidance, NCAA help, and preparation of annual homeschool evaluations, testing, tutoring and life coaching. She also has had the privilege of teaching high school classes (Honors Marine Biology, Honors Biology, Personal Finance, American Humanities and a Health course) in a home school co-op. Lorraine received a BA from the University of Florida. Lorraine and her husband Kevin, who is an attorney, have been married since 1981. Living in Sarasota, Florida, they have four grown children and one grandson. They began homeschooling their children in 1991. Kevin was formerly the Chairman, Vice-chairman and District 5 Director of the Florida Parent Educators Association (FPEA).
