As a mom of dyslexic children, I dealt with the frustration of having a child that couldn't read. After experiencing my daughters experiencing a new way of learning, I decided to earn my Graduate Certificate in Dyslexia from the University of Florida where I was able to learn more about dyslexia and go through a practicum with the University of Florida. It then encouraged me to further my learning with Orton Gillingham. I enjoy helping children find their right path with reading through my training but also using multi-sensory techniques to make learning more meaningful and enjoyable.
