Sand Basin Schoolhouse is a supportive, enriching learning community designed to complement and enhance your child’s home education experience. We offer engaging, thematic lessons that connect learning to real life, helping students see purpose in what they study while building skills that prepare them for a successful future. Our lessons encourage curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, and a love of learning. Students learn in a positive, encouraging environment where they are free to explore ideas, ask questions, and grow together. We value the importance of social development and provide opportunities for students to connect through shared learning experiences. Our program includes added enrichment such as holiday celebrations, open-ended play, field trips, and intentional character-building activities that nurture kindness, responsibility, and confidence. Sand Basin Schoolhouse is led by Mrs. Tabitha Conrad, who is a Florida certified teacher with additional endorsements in reading instruction and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). Her experience, passion for teaching, and dedication to each child create a classroom atmosphere where students feel supported, capable, and excited to learn. At Sand Basin Schoolhouse, we partner with families to provide a well-rounded, joyful educational experience that strengthens academics, builds character, and supports the unique journey of every home educated student.
