Mrs. Cherry’s Learning Lab provides personalized, science of reading–based virtual instruction for students in grades K–5 who need support with foundational reading skills. Whether your child is just beginning to read or struggling to keep up, instruction is designed to identify and fill foundational gaps so they can become confident, capable readers. Using explicit, systematic, and research-based methods, students build essential skills in phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, and comprehension through engaging, interactive online sessions. Each session is tailored to your child’s unique needs, with ongoing progress monitoring and periodic parent updates to track growth and guide instruction, ensuring meaningful, lasting results. Students with diverse learning needs, including those with IEPs, receive targeted, supportive instruction in a calm and encouraging virtual environment. Mrs. Cherry holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.), is certified in Elementary Education (K–6) and Reading (K–12), and brings over 25 years of experience. Her students consistently demonstrate strong growth in reading performance, including improvements on benchmark and state assessments. Now enrolling a limited number of students for June sessions, with expanded summer availability. Advance enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year is also available.
