Provider description
Students will learn how automotive systems work and basic procedures for diagnosing them. No prior knowledge or experience is required. A total of 9 areas are available for learning: Introduction to Automotive Systems, Brakes, Suspension, Electrical, Heating & Air Conditioning, Engine Repair, Engine Performance, Manual Transmissions, Automatic Transmissions. Recommended ages are 10 and up. Courses for each of the 9 areas are tailored to the needs of the individual or group. There are typically 8, one-hour sessions for each area. For ages 15 and older, preparation for nationally recognized industry certifications (ASE's) for each of these areas is also available. One-on-one tutoring can be scheduled as well.
