Tampa Bay Kayak Anglers (TBKA) offers immersive, hands-on outdoor education experiences tailored for homeschool families in the Tampa Bay area. Our Homeschool Fishing and Kayak Fishing classes provide a unique blend of physical activity, environmental science, and life skills, making them an excellent choice for science credit or elective enrichment. We serve students ages 5 and up, guiding them through interactive lessons on local ecosystems, fish species, water safety, and ethical angling. Led by American Canoe Association (ACA) Certified Instructors, our classes combine classroom-style learning with real-world application on the water. Participants gain confidence, coordination, and an appreciation for Florida’s estuaries while developing practical skills in fishing, paddling, and conservation. TBKA proudly provides all necessary equipment, and each student receives their own fishing rod and reel combo to keep. Our mission is to make outdoor education fun, accessible, and meaningful, empowering homeschoolers to learn science through nature and exploration.
