The Center for Speech & Language has been serving the Orlando Community since 1981. Our practice is located at 5020 Goddard Ave in Orlando, Florida 32804. We provide comprehensive evaluations as well as individual and/or group sessions for people with difficulties listening, speaking, reading or writing. Our philosophy includes a belief in early intervention, customized treatment programs specifically tailored to the needs of each individual, and a commitment to providing information and support to families during the evaluation and treatment, as well as involving family members in the treatment process. Our evaluations and therapy cover a wide range of areas. Services include, but are not limited to: Articulation/Phonological Processing Language Pragmatics/Social Skills Reading/Dyslexia using the Orton Gillingham approach Spelling Written Language Voice Fluency Oral-Motor/Apraxia Tongue Thrust Auditory Processing Autism Down Syndrome Cleft Palate Hearing Impairment/Cochlear Implants Selective Mutism Vocal Cord Dysfunction (VCD) Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
